Windows Media Rights Manager

If you have a validly licensed copy of the Microsoft® Windows Media™ Rights Manager Software Development Kit ('WMRM SDK'), you may obtain a DRM Certificate by completing the following form. Your DRM Certificate is valid for one (1) year and allows you to issue licenses by using Microsoft Windows Media License Service for your WMC Content that has been Packaged by using the WMRM SDK.

Use of the DRM Certificate is subject to the terms and conditions of the Microsoft License Agreement for Microsoft Windows Media Rights Manager Software Development Kit ("License Agreement"). Should you have any questions concerning the License Agreement, please send an email with your question to wmrmsdk@microsoft.com.

For an explanation of capitalized terms that are not defined here, please see the License Agreement provided to you by Microsoft for the WMRM SDK.

To get a DRM Certificate, register with Microsoft by providing an e-mail address to which you have access. Then, you'll receive an e-mail message that contains information to complete the enrollment for the DRM Certificate. You will also receive e-mail messages about security and product updates. As we mentioned, your DRM Certificate will expire in one (1) year. To continue to issue licenses without an interruption in service, be sure to get a new DRM Certificate before the current one expires.

Note: Be sure to provide an e-mail address to which you have access; otherwise, you will not receive your DRM Certificate.
